Westcourt

Situated along a lane which runs parallel to the High Street the hamlet consists a small number of predominantly old houses, most of which were once farm houses or the cottages for farm workers. Today there are no farm left working in Westcourt with the land being part of either Bowden Farm (not strictly part of Westcourt) or Harepath Farm. The hamlet's malthouse has sadly been demolished, the butcher's shop moved away then closed and the racing stables ceased in 1948. However the equestrian theme still survives with the Tedworth Hunt and a horse training establishment both still operating from buildings there.
